Working together

You can come to us with a question rather than a finished brief. We will help you work out what information would be useful and what the project should produce.

Start with what you need to decide

Tell us the situation, who will use the findings and when they would be useful. The short enquiry form gives us enough to start that conversation.

Agree the approach

We review the information available and discuss a method that fits your question. Research briefs, market comparisons, survey and data analysis, strategy support and workflow assessments each call for a different approach. We confirm the work and quotation before starting.

Decide what you will receive

Your agreement describes the deliverables and format. That might be a decision brief, a competitor comparison, an analysis report or a working plan. It also sets out review points and the information we need from you.

Handle your information with care

A general description is enough for the first enquiry. We agree how to transfer and handle project material before you share it. We also discuss confidentiality, access and any return or deletion arrangements.

Keep in touch as the work develops

We use the agreed review points to check progress and discuss questions that arise. If the brief needs to change, we confirm the new arrangements with you.

Put the output to use

We deliver the agreed materials with the context and supporting sources needed to understand them. If the findings also need to become a publication, presentation or website, we can discuss a separate design scope with Sage Design Lab.

Start with the question

What do you need to decide?

Tell us what is at stake. We will start by assessing the scope.
